This award recognises excellence in the performance of sustainability practices in the built environment, relating to the management and incremental improvement of energy and resource management and operational practices.
Essential Criteria
Evidence of how your current operations and management practices have implemented improvements to at least one (1) area of water efficiency, energy efficiency or waste reductions and/or working towards being Carbon Neutral or more sustainable.
Select at least one (1) area of environmental sustainability achievement improvements:
- Water efficiency – improvements to reduce water usage.
- Energy efficiency – improvements to reduce energy consumption.
- Waste reduction – waste management strategies used to reduce excess waste.
- Other Sustainable Project

Provide details on:
- What has been implemented
- Why this was implemented
- What are the goals / benefits?
- How is this being measured?
- What makes your innovation, procedure or practice unique and/or successful?
As an optional addition to your nomination, you’re welcome to submit a short video (under one minute) explaining why your nominee deserves to win. While not required, videos are a great way to further support your nomination and highlight their achievements. Please submit your videos to events@liwaaquatics.org.au
