2025 Aquatic Technical Operator of the Year Award

This award recognises a commitment to excellence in high-level customer service, knowledge and skills such as operations, safety & leadership skills, relating to a duty manager/supervisor/aquatic technical operator. 


Essential Criteria

  • Current member of LIWA Aquatics
  • Current Accreditation to operate as an Aquatic Technical Operator in a Group 1 Public Pool Facility


Award Criteria

  • Details of achievements in the areas of
    1. Operations.
    2. Leadership and/or Mentoring.
    3. Training/PD
    4. Commitment to safety.
  • Third Party Feedback on commitment and dedication to the position received from any customers, peers, colleagues and/or employer.
  • A general statement on overall work ethic.

As an optional addition to your nomination, you’re welcome to submit a short video (under one minute) explaining why your nominee deserves to win. While not required, videos are a great way to further support your nomination and highlight their achievements. Please submit your videos to events@liwaaquatics.org.au
