The Leisure Institute of WA Aquatics (LIWA Aquatics), in partnership with Royal Life Saving, recently held the North West Aquatic Recreation Seminar on May 10th, 2024, at the Wanangkura Stadium in South Hedland. The event, supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Town of Port Hedland, Trade Exhibitors Fluidra, Sigma Chemicals, and Niche Diving Services, brought together 40 industry professionals from across the North West region of WA.

The WA Aquatic Recreation Industry Awards are designed to highlight and award excellence of Individuals within the aquatic recreation industry, Aquatic Facilities, their staff and organisations and provide an opportunity to formally recognize their commitment to improving aquatic recreation communities, programs, facility operations, management and safety.
